PA insulating strips
In a variety of aluminum windows called Thermal Break, the plastic parts of the polyamide material are sewn in the middle of the profiles to cut off the inside of the window with its outer wall and insulate window. This logic is still used in the manufacturing of insulating windows, doors, and aluminum facades. The production of polyamide insulating strips as insulating mechanism for this industry was first launched by a German well known company in 1977, and till then ,the production of polyamide insulating strips and their application in a wide range of types of aluminum profiles throughout the world continues.
Insulating aluminum profiles can be done both with a special formulation based on 66 polyamide reinforced with 25% glass fiber.
